MESSAGE
With prodigious pleasure, we comfy you to the web page of the Department of Mathematics and Physics. Here you will find valuable information about research, academic programs and career opportunities for mathematicians and physicists.
Modern computation, advances in scientific technology and the increasing production of data have all increased the scope for applications of mathematics well beyond the traditional areas of engineering and the physical sciences, to include fields such as finance, economics, information technology and molecular biology.
Physicists embrace the study of the most basic natural laws, and seek to explain how and why things work on scales ranging from the sub-nuclear, through the everyday, and on to the entire cosmos.
The teaching of Mathematics and Physics is undisputedly an immense task, but when you have a set of determined teachers with a common vision, anything is achievable.
The department has been actively involved in improving academic performance of students by working hard to achieve the set targets.
